In the summer of 2023, pre-production began for Sharpie’s ambitious national campaign—a dynamic blend of live activations, digital engagement, and influencer partnerships designed to launch Sharpie's new Creative Markers. At its core was a custom-built, 35-foot mobile studio, envisioned as a traveling hub where artists, creators, and influencers could engage directly with audiences and produce compelling live-streamed content.

MOVING OUT
By spring 2024, the Sharpie Tour had transformed from concept to reality, moving across the country and sparking widespread creative participation. On-site events, digital interactions, and influencer-driven moments amplified Sharpie’s energy and encouraged nationwide artistic expression. The campaign transcended traditional marketing, becoming a cultural movement that resonated deeply within communities, highlighting Sharpie's dedication to innovation, creativity, and self-expression.

MOBILE STUDIO
Far from a typical activation, the mobile studio was a sophisticated, multifunctional platform designed for versatility. Equipped with professional-grade cameras, a full switcher suite, and advanced broadcasting technology, it allowed seamless live streaming across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other major platforms from virtually any location. Powered by Starlink and dual redundant cellular systems, it ensured consistent, reliable connectivity even in remote areas, all supported by an onboard generator.

SOCIAL MEDIA
The tour wasn't just about face-to-face interactions—it was designed to reach and engage a global audience. With professional broadcast capabilities onboard, our production teams streamed live content across major social platforms, capturing artist interviews, behind-the-scenes insights, and interactive creative sessions. Each stop became an engaging, live-streamed event where both online and in-person audiences came together to celebrate art, culture, and community, contributing their own creativity to the evolving Sharpie narrative.
ART BATTLE
A standout moment was our partnership with Art Battle, the world’s top live painting competition. Artists competed head-to-head in vibrant, audience-driven battles filmed in Chicago and Los Angeles, creating an electric atmosphere fueled by creativity and competition. More than just an event, Art Battle embodied the dynamic spirit of the Sharpie campaign, celebrating talent and live artistic expression.
ART WORK
Throughout the year, we carefully curated artworks that authentically captured the unique spirit and culture of each city we visited. Over time, these diverse pieces organically blended into a compelling narrative, creating a vibrant mosaic that celebrated local creativity and community identity.

ART BASEL
In December, this curated collection was unveiled at the renowned ART BASEL in Miami Beach, marking the campaign's grand finale. ART BASEL, established in Basel, Switzerland, in 1970, has become a global nexus for contemporary art, drawing premier galleries, influential artists, collectors, and curators into a vibrant exchange of ideas. Our exhibition at ART BASEL celebrated the impactful and diverse works collected throughout the year, symbolizing the conclusion of one creative chapter and the exciting promise of new beginnings.
